Scandinavian Discovery

Hello, it has been a few weeks since my last update, been having some well enjoyed rest .... but its back to work, and I am now in Copenhagen, arrived here yesterday, after the short SAS flight from London. Arrived at the Hotel, The Admiral, just a short walk from Nyhavn, an area with lots of restaurants right next to the canal. Had a nice dinner last night, then it was an early night, which turned into the longest night, it was a really warm night, and this Hotel has no air conditioning, had to leave the window open and it faces the main street lots of traffic and people shouting and just when it got quiet ... the deliveries started .....in the end I just got up ....
We started today with a sightseeing tour of the city, starting off at the Amalienborg Palace, the Queens, winter residence, then it was on to see the Little Mermaid .... but unfortunately she is away on holiday this year to Shangai for the Expo. Finished the tour around 12 midday, and that was it for the day, a quiet afternoon in the sun, it is warm again today, but the hotel has promised to get a fan for me .. we will see if that happens later... attached are a couple of photos, the famous Tivoli Gardens and the Town Hall. We leave for Sweden in the morning, via Frederiksborg, Helsingor (Elsinore, in Hamlet), before the 25 minute ferry ride over to    Helsingborg in Sweden and overnight in  Jonkoping.
